2025 Election Information

Our Annual election is almost here! On Saturday, July 19th our membership will elect new leadership and vote on two proposed changed to our constitution.

Here's the important info: 

  • In person polling: 10AM-4PM at Healy Lake Tribal Hall & Fairbanks office (600 University Ave Ste 100)

  • Phone voting: 10AM-4PM, call 907-371-4044 or 907-450-9673 during this time, or ANC accounting will call you if we have your number on file. To vote via phone you will be verified by DOB or last 4 of SSN

  • 4 seats are up for election: currently occupied by Alissa Healy, Ben Saylor, Evelynn Combs, & Rose Woods

  • On the ballot are: Alissa Healy, Anita Luke Edwin, Ben Saylor, Evelynn Combs Jeannie Polston, and Rose Woods

  • Two proposed constitution updates:
    1. Would update legal name to Healy Lake Village Council (currently Healy Lake Traditional Council)
    2. Would limit council members to only serve two terms in a row, then must take a term-long break before running again
